What happens in the Bey Rivals tutorial?

You start in Volt Aoba’s wooden gym. Volt launches once to show you, then lends you his friend’s Surge Spriggan (Balance) for a battle against his Vector Valkyra(Attack). The battle is split into 15 numbered prompts that each teach one key, then ends in a free battle.

Aim with the mouse and lock in with Q; land near the middle.
Let it rip: press Q when the shrinking ring touches the circle, three times.
Drive with WASD. You are the red bey.
Learn your burst locks: big hits break them, lose them all and you lose.
Brace with F, Scrape Charge with Space, special move on R.
Win the clash by spamming clicks or Q, then Awaken with E when Volt’s bey is tired.
Crash into the blue bey for a Burst Finish. We won 2–0.

Which starter bey should you pick?

After the battle Volt says every blader needs a partner. You choose one of three; the screen notes you will “summon and merge many more”.

It has the best spread of the three (DEF SS, STA B). New players lose most rounds by being knocked out at the edge; a Defense bey that “holds the centre” forgives that. TakeVector Valkyra instead if you enjoyed chasing Volt down with Scrape Charges: ATK SS hits hardest, but DEF C and STA C punish missed hits.

What is in Bey Park?

Volt then walks you through Bey Park, the hub, in a 7-step tour (you can Skip Tour). It is “where every blader battles, summons and shows off”.

Stadiums: step onto a stadium’s pad to queue for a 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 battle. If nobody joins, a trainer steps in after a few seconds, so you can always play.
Ranked opens at Level 5: talk to Volt by the Ranked ELO board.
Store: the Store button on the left, or B.
Summon: the tour gives you one free summon to try it. Ours rolled Dread Deathscythe, an Epic.
Inventory: equip, merge and upgrade your parts.
Workshop: assemble a bey from layer, disc and driver, and choose your launcher.
Quests: three new quests every day; finish all three for bonus Spin Tickets.
Finishing the tour pays +500 BP and +2 Spin Tickets.

Redeem the codes straight away

Codes only work after the tutorial, and only if your account is in the BBR Productions Roblox group (the game tells you to join if you are not). What should you do in your first hour?

Claim the free daily gift in the Store’s Featured tab.
Summon with your Spin Tickets first and keep BP for later. Check the odds and pity before you spend.
Spend Lucky Spins on the Surname banner: they never roll a Common. See surnames.
Queue 1v1s at the stadiums to earn BP and XP. A trainer fills in when the server is quiet.
Hit Level 5 and start Ranked.

Yes, there is a Skip Tutorial button at the top right, and the Bey Park tour has Skip Tour. The tutorial only takes a few minutes and teaches every key, so we recommend playing it once.
